This Is How You Nail Guest Posting

Guest posting is a really important part of blogging and business.

When you guest post for somebody else, you tend to drive traffic back to your own blog and website.

This is great whether you’re a blogger looking for more exposure, or a business owner who wants to drive their business to the top.

But how do you get guest posting right? Read on to find out!

Find Quality Blogs To Guest Post On

The first thing you need to do is make sure you find quality blogs to write your guest posts on.

You can use online tools to check just how popular the blogs are, but you can also usually tell by looking at them. Do they post regularly?

Is the content unique and well-written? Does the site look good? Does this person seem like a real person? If you have positive answers to these questions, then you may have found a good blog.

Of course, it should also be relevant to whatever it is you’re writing about.

Once you’ve found a quality blog, you can approach the blogger to see how they feel about a collaboration.

Bear in mind that some bloggers will expect some form of compensation for allowing you to guest post. It’s a good idea to keep your approach simple, short, and sweet.

Try not to make it one of those copy and paste emails, even if you’re sending out a lot of them. They are tired, obvious, and bloggers will receive these every day.

Try to personalize the email a little if you really want to guest post with the blogger. Make sure you’re polite. Bear in mind they may be busy, so you shouldn’t expect a reply right away.

Provide Content That Is High Quality And Helpful

When you’ve found the blog and emailed the blogger, it’s a good idea to have some content ready.

Your guest posts need to be high quality, helpful, relevant, and unique. They should also have some added personality because nobody wants to read boilerplate stuff.

To make it look even better, ensure you format the post and include nice pictures. You could send the blogger a snippet of what you’re thinking of doing for them if you think it would entice them and go in your favor.

It could also help the process to move faster.

Build Good Relationships With Other Bloggers

Make sure you build good relationships with other bloggers. You might not want to post on their blogs right now, but you may in the future. You can meet them on LinkedIn and forums, as well as on social media sites like Twitter.

Nailing guest posting might not seem like the easiest thing in the world at first, but you’ll love it when you start to see the benefits. Make sure you know what your aims are: do you want to drive people back to your website? Do you want them to give you their email address, or buy your product? This will help you to create great guest posts!
