how do i apply on line for this card ? i have tried the website comenity.net/marathonapply with no luck.

  2. Christopher says:

Herbert: The page you refereed to in the comment is for existing cardholders to access their basic card info. The only way I know of right now to apply for this card is by going to Marathon Gas Station and picking up an application. I hope this helps, thanks for the question.

  3. herbert tuccker says:

very confussing because that page is on the application with this instruction “complete sign and mail this application.TO APPLY ONLINE go to comenity.net/marathonapply”

I have not received a letter from Marathon about the new Marathon Visa card. The letter I received said I would receive a card in the mail. I have not received it.
    Thank you

  5. Christopher says:

Kenith: I should mention that if you have the old marathon card you will end up getting the chase freedom card, which is with MasterCard. You will have to reapply for the new Marathon Card because it’s with Visa.

  6. How do you apply for a Marathon credit card on line! I’ve had no success on getting this done! Your website says nothing about Marathon — only visa cards from different banks! We already have visa card but wanted the Marathon card! Please let me know!

  7. Christopher says:

Beth, I heard of others having this same issue, but as far as I know you can’t apply online for the Marathon Visa Credit Card or the Marathon Gas Card. In order to apply you will have to go to a Marathon Gas Station and pick up an application.

  8. I tried to pay my bill on line and they told me I have to go to comenity.net/marathoncard, I did and I can’t find anyway to pay my bill online like I use to. My bill is due tomorrow and I don’t know what to do? I don’t want to pay I late fee. Aii I got in the mail is a letter saying the Comenity will be handling my Marathon ccount.

I am going to call again tomarrow and try to find out just how I should go about paying my
    bill.

  10. Robert Rook says:

Did anyone ever find out how to make a payment online for our Marathon Credit Card?? I tried “Comenity” like everyone else and it apparently does not exist! What an outfit!

  11. Robert Rook says:

To bide some time while I wait to hear from someone on how to pay your Marathon card online, I went to Marathon’s suggested site to opt out of them sharing my personal information with their non-affiliated companies and, guess what? That site is mycardcare.com/privacy and it does not exist either!

  12. Laura Downs says:

Was trying to pay bill online and had problems also. Called service number on bill. You have to type into http and not the seach engine. http://www.comenity.net/marathoncard and you will come up with a picture of man standing in front of a station. Have to go thru enternet not search engine. Hope this helps someone else

It is beginning to look like Marathon Petroleum Companu is NO LONGER interested in its clientele. The company is doing only what is good for them, not the costumer. Their new contract with World Financial is a strong indication of this fact. World Financial has a phone menu that would make getting through to the president of the United States easier to do than to talk with one of their representatives. However, if you are afforded the luxury of speaking with a “costumer SERVICE representative” ( should exlude SERVICE) be prepared to invest your time, make sure you have your facts, because you will get several different answers from them. And when all is said and done, little is said, and almost assuredly nothing is done. Thank You Marathon, where is that Shell application honey?

I went to http://www.comenity.net/marathoncard to pay my bill on line and then insert first time – nothing shows up on the screen.

  15. I know my bill is overdue by more than a few days, but no luck for weeks trying to pay it on line.# 1 the amount could not be right… no way did I charge the exact same amount in Nov and Oct. to the penny… no luck trying to talk to anyone either.. getting really annoyed. please help me I do not need my perfect credit score messed up…

  16. Robert Sikkenga says:

This credit card and the bank that sponsors it are really deceptive characters. Before I used the Marathon VISA card to make a downpayment on a car, I talked to a lady in customer service who told me that I’d get $200 in rewards cards. When they didn’t arrive, I sent an email to them explaining the situation, and a lady named Patty McGovern sent me an inane response telling me I wasn’t qualified for rewards. I called and talked to a man named Lamar who told me the first lady misinformed me, and that rewards are paid only on Marathon purchases. After being so abused, I trashed my card and went back to legitimate credit cards from legitimate banks.

  17. marathon gas card app on line help!

  18. Christopher says:

I tried to apply online as well be no such luck. My only suggestion is to go to a Marathon Gas Station and pick up an application. This is what I did.

I’ve also found that in order to add your spouse or someone else this card you will have to sign up first and then call and request a card for your spouse.

    Thanks for the Comment Joe.
