When Is the Best Time to Purpose During the Holidays

December 24, 2018 by Christopher

Asking for the love of your wife’s hand in marriage is a pivotal moment for most people — the likely possibility that you’re about to start your entire life together as one team is a huge step.  No more questions of ‘how to know if he likes you’ to be asked, but of course if you are curious anyway, head here: https://www.hernorm.com/does-he-like-me/

Therefore, the anticipation of making sure that the moment is just right is enough for anyone to feel a bit of pressure. You may be going over and over in your head about the perfect way to do it.

There’s no better time than now during the holidays to pop the question, and here are the reasons why.

What Better Gift Than An Engagement Ring?

While some people might be receiving socks or gift certificates, your sweetheart will receive a beautiful engagement ring.  Let’s face it; a diamond ring says ‘I love you’ much more than a pair of socks, yes even the fuzziest socks you can find.

The holiday season represents love and compassion; therefore marriage is the perfect way to embrace the holiday spirit by asking her to spend the rest of her life with you.

Plenty Of Occasions

Christmas is full of holiday parties and gatherings so you’ll have no shortage of opportunities to pop the question,  One of the most romantic things that you can do to show your love is to propose in front of your friends and family. Sharing your joy with everyone can be a magical joy to start the first day of the rest of your life together.

However, if you’re not much of a socially outgoing person then maybe this kind of fanfare is too much for you.

There’s still plenty of romantic opportunities cuddles up next to the fire or watching a Christmas movie under a blanket drinking wine.   You can even get creative by creating your own scene and surprise her in a DIY winter wonderland.

Take Advantage of Sales

Beyond all of the sentimental reasons that Christmas is a great time to ask her to marry you, it’s also a great time to save some money on her ring.

Since stores are eager to beat out all of the competition trying to sell you the same thing around the holidays, you can find stuff for a fraction of the cost.

Regardless of whether you’re rich or not, everyone loves a good deal. So take advantage of the chance to save some money on the ring put the rest of what you would have spent towards your wedding costs.

You Can Start The New Year Together

What better symbolism for your new beginning together than the New Year?  Starting your new year together engaged is a great way to take the next step together into your life as a married couple.
