5 Ways To Identify A Make Money Online Scam

istock_000008591594xsmallSo your searching the net and you come across this website that clams you can make a fortune on the internet by just simply putting up a website and following their system.  You dig a little deeper and find out that you have to sign up for their program and that there will be a hefty fee to get involved.

Should you or shouldn’t you buy in?

Have you ever come across this situation before, some great money making idea on the internet but you wonder is it or isn’t a scam?  Today, I’m going to give 5 easy ways to identify a make money online scam.  Follow these simple tips and you won’t get burned again.

You Can Make Money Fast

They’re several ways to pinpoint a make money online scam but this is the easiest by far to pick out.  I’ve run three different businesses over my lifetime and I can honestly tell you I did not ever make money fast at any one of them.

So you might be thinking why do these internet scammers say you can make money fast?  In America we live in right now society.  We can’t wait for anything.  By saying you can make money fast it makes it sound as if you don’t have to put any effort into making money online.

I can tell you after my first grueling year of running my blog nothing has been fast or easy about it.  I’ve faced my ups and downs and after a year managed to make about $500.  The truth is running an online business isn’t any different than running an offline business.  You still have to put all the effort in, work hard and stay focused.

Making Huge Promises

Making huge promises goes along with the first tip I gave.  If the online site you are looking at is making outrageous promises chances are they really are.  I can usually pick these kinds of scams out real quick.

These sites usually claim they can get you thousands of visitors to your site in days.  The promises will almost be a bit to outrageous, however I’ve been noticing that the scammer have been doing a better job at making their sites  look more authentic.

The Scammer Doesn’t Use Their Own Product

This is a biggy.  If someone is claiming that their system for making money online is so great, why aren’t they using their own product?   If they’re not, it’s a pretty good guess that it’s nothing more than a scam.

So if the make money online scammers aren’t using it why are they selling it?  Pretty simple, the real money being made from their make money online scam is from selling the phony product.

So how do you tell if someone uses their own product?  You research them and look for clues.  For example, the few internet marketers that I follow all use their own system have a very successful following as a result of it.

Later this week I will be posting several bloggers and internet marketer I follow and why they are so successful in my opinion.  So watch for that post later this week.

The Make Money Online Scammers Can’t Teach You Anything

That’ right, the online scammers can’t teach you anything.  In fact, the scammers are more like pushy salesmen only looking for the next deal.  A good way to tell this is by looking at their site.  If all they have is sales page after sales page they just want you to buy.

However, before I can trust in any internet marketer I need them to prove themselves first.  They should be screaming with valuable content.  The best internet marketers and bloggers aren’t about the money, they prefer to give out great content and let their work speak for itself.

If the scammer can’t do this, walk away.

It’s All About The Money With The Scammers

Like I mentioned in the last tip the scammer are only interested in getting you to buy.  A good example of this is the survey scout review I did a few weeks back. With survey scout they only wanted me to sign up for their program right away, they promised big results like making big bucks fast, and didn’t teach nothing about their program.

In fact it looked very legit but once you got on the inside it was nothing more than an unethical scam.  The worse part about make money online scams is that they don’t care about you.  If you get taken by them who cares it just another day for them ripping people off.

I know that sounds kind of harsh but that’s the way these people think.
