Well it’s good to be back from my 2 week hiatus of moving, I have to say that I’m glad I will never have to move again. Well, I guess never say never. I would have been back to normal a week ago but my cable company wasn’t able to make it out till late last week to hook things up. On top of that internet at work was on the fritz which meant I had to go to my brothers house to even do anything on the net.
Now that things are back to normal I will be back to my regular posting schedule on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s.
This Weeks Articles
This week I wrote two great articles, one being over 3000 words long, so check them out below.
- The House Building Process Step By Step – A Guide For Beginners - In this article I go through every step to building a house from digging the basement to planting the grass. I also include a bunch of pictures of my house as I go through the process as well.
- How To Build A Niche Site Series Part 1: Accepting The Challenge - In this article I’ve finally taken the plunge to build my first niche site and I thought it would be great to document the process along the way and share my results with everyone. So check out this article, next week I’m going to cover exactly what I did to pick my niche.

Weekly Question?
What was the longest blog article you ever wrote?
Thanks so much for the mention Chris. Be careful to never say never.
I’ve done in too many times to count and you know what I ended up doing it anyway.
Have a great weekend!
HAHA John, I hope I don’t end up eating those words because I’m planning on staying right where I’m at. Thanks for the comment and have a great weekend as well.
Thanks for the mention Chris. Good to have you back from moving. I love that video. It was funny and great to see people getting pranked. I hope you have a good weekend.
PS. My longest post is probably about 3,500 words, but that is on a different blog.
Welcome back and thanks for the mention! I hope everything went smoothly. Think my longest post was about 1500 words, I have a 2-3 days, 13 days and 30 days series as well to make it digestible for readers.
Wow, 3500 words is pretty long Grayson. To be truthfully honest I don’t like my post to go any longer than a 1000 words but sometimes you need more to explain something that is detailed. Thanks for your support.
I think you bring up a great point Pauline, I’ve been looking at doing things in more of a series rather than one off article, which is OK but sometime I feel that if you can find a great topic that everyone wants to know about you can break it down into a series of articles that come out over several weeks. I know this has worked well for my house building series so maybe it will work better on other series as well. Thanks for your support Pauline.
Moving is never fun! Have a great weekend.
I agree 100% Michelle. If it weren’t for all the big stuff and going up and down the stairs a thousand times I could live with it but other than that I’m glad it’s done. Have a great weekend as well.
Welcome back! Hmm the strangest blog article I ever wrote was probably the very first one because I had no bloody idea what I was doing. Looking back at it I half just shake my head and laugh at my sad attempt but I tried! Cheers!
That’s all that matters Mr CBB. I don’t think that I can even look at my first articles anymore, my writing was pretty terrible back then, but just like anything it just takes practice and a little patience. Thanks for stopping by.
We just moved recently, too. Lots of fun! We jammed all of our stuff in a small UHaul trailer and drove about 1000 miles. It is always such a good feeling when you finally arrive HOME!
Hi Pam, I can totally agree with you, moving is such a pain. I’m only glad that I had to move across town and not a 1000 miles away, that had to be stressful. Thanks for stopping by.
