This week there was a lot of great post out there several which I came across at The Carnival of Money Hacks hosted by Personal Finance by the book. The decisions were tough this week to choose from as they are every week. So take some time and check out my top 3 for the week, they have defiantly earned it.
- Prime Time Money with Clean Finances, Clean Mind. What I liked about this post some much is I just did this personally myself, so I can relate. I recently cleaned out an upstairs room in my house didn’t realize how much junk I had collected over the years. It was hard to part with it all but I’ve gotten over it. Now if I could only do this with my finances more.
- KCLau’s Money Tips with I Achieved Financial Freedom at 38. I came across this blog post and was just blown away. The part about integrity is deep but it’s true. It’s probably why I like this article some much. There are times when we compromise are personal integrity and sometimes we feel like giving up because taking that next financial step seems so hard. Read the rest of the article to see the rest of his great tips.
- Automatic Finances with When Investing Stick With What You Know. In this post Lee went through some important tips on picking the right investment for yourself. He also mentions that you don’t want to pick any investment that you don’t understand. A good example is a lady I ran into a few years back when I was in financial services; she had her entire 401k invested in a Real Estate Fund. Luckily, she moved it before the market tanked.
Well, that’s this week’s top 3. Make sure you take some time and check out these article and even sign up to their RSS if possible. They have all worked really hard and deserve a lot of credit for the great work.
